🌿 Teaching as Praxis

Rooted in the work of Paulo Freire, teaching as praxis invites us to reflect, act, and grow. This branch of the Teaching Tree supports you in making intentional, student-centered choices through regular reflection and meaningful course improvement.

It includes three different Flex-eligible activities:

  • Start-of-Semester Intention Setting
  • Weekly Teaching Check-Ins
  • End-of-Semester Reflection

The Teaching Tree Canvas Shell is a space for all San Diego Mesa College faculty to connect with each other around the topic of teaching. Please use the links below to access our modules on the following topics:

  2. Canvas Course Prep BINGO (Flex #25463) - Check off essential course prep tasks, earn a little Flex Credit, and see if you can score a Bingo along the way.
