Starting Strong

Whether you teach online or on campus, the first few moments of your course are key. That's where you set the vibe, outline what's expected, and get everyone interacting. This is also a time to let students know that you believe in their success and that you want to support them as learners. And if you want them to show up authentically, then this is when you should be showing up authentically as well. Plus, early activities help everyone get comfy with the course tools, paving the way for a smooth ride ahead. In this module, participants will learn how to kick off the semester with strategies that set students up for success, ensuring a welcoming, clear, and supportive start to the semester.
