While accessibility checkers are valuable tools for identifying potential accessibility issues in digital content such as Canvas pages and documents, they do have some drawbacks. Note that not all accessibility checkers review the same items equally or have similar features. Below are some do's and don'ts when working with accessibility checkers.

Helps identify accessible color contrast between text color and background color

What It Doesn't Do

Will not help define page heading structure
Write descriptive alt text for images or infographics
Identify long unreadable links
Write descriptive links
Identify items that should a list style
