9.0 Overview Canvas Discussions/Announcements Redesign
Effective July 20, 2024, Canvas will implement a redesign of the Announcements and Discussions tools for all users. This mandatory update introduces several changes:

- Option for anonymous discussions
- Ability to view discussion edit history

- This update is not optional. After July 20, faculty will no longer have access to the legacy versions of Announcements and Discussions.
