Small Business Information
Planning to start your own Business?
There are many helpful resources in San Diego County, in addition to the many classes you will find at adult education programs, community colleges, and universities (especially their extension programs). Some are no-cost, some charge a fee.
Here are direct links to these resources...take advantage of them and don't even think about not getting help to open and run a small business. You might have a great idea and the skills to provide the product or service, but you also need the financial, marketing, and legal savvy to survive in a very competitive marketplace!
We have our own SDCE program, check it out:
Provides students with the practical application skills and knowledge to plan, manage and grow a small business. Includes instruction in the essentials of business; sales and marketing skills necessary for the entrepreneur or manager; roles of the entrepreneur; sales ethics and developing a sales team.
