Registration Priority Groups

Registration dates are determined by your student demographic (i.e. Student Athlete, DSPS, EOPS,  Veteran Status, etc.) and academic status (i.e. New, Returning, Student with 100+ units, etc). This will determine the date that you can register for classes for the upcoming semester. 

For example: Students who are identified as veterans, foster youth, student athletes, and program participants in EOPS or DSPS are eligible to register on the first day that registration opens. 


Here is a breakdown of the order of registration groups: 

Your registration date is determined by your student demographic, completion of our college's matriculation, and academic status. If you are a part of EOPS, DSPS, a student athlete, foster youth, or military - you will be eligible to register on the first day of registration. Most new and returning students will register in group 3 after our continuing students. It is vital to complete your matriculation requirements to receive the best priority registration date and time. These matriculation requirements include: completing this online orientation and meeting with a counselor to develop your abbreviated semester educational plan. Check your my.sdccd.edu account to see your registration date and time.
