Hello, my name is Liezl. I am the instructional designer for the Self-Paced PowerPoint Micro-Course. In this course, you will learn how to create an accessible PowerPoint.

Time Commitment

The time commitment will vary depending on accessibility background and PowerPoint familiarity. Give yourself about 1-2 hours a day to work on this  micro-course.

Prerequisites

This micro-course assumes you are familiar with the accessibility basics. This course is built to provide PowerPoint Accessibility support for all levels. No need to have any background in PowerPoint.

Course Navigation

Just a note about navigation. There are Two ways to navigate. You have course module navigation and within each module, there is a navigation menu to jump to any essential topic for your convenience.

Course Activities

This course centers around real-world, project-based problems. Roll up your sleeves – hope you’re ready for some active learning.

The Fix Me PowerPoint Course Activity is a knowledge building exercise that gives you the opportunity to apply what you’ve just learned. You will download the Fix Me PowerPoint Course Activity, and continue making edits to this PowerPoint throughout the course.
