The National Association of the Deaf (NAD,) through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Education, administers the Described and Captioned Media Program Links to an external site.(DCMP), which educates how to provide equal access to communication and learning for viewers who are blind, visually impaired, deaf, hard of hearing, or deaf-blind.
