Varieties of Color Blindness
This four-square chart illustrates how those with normal vision view the colors of the rainbow in comparison with three common types of color blindness. While those with normal vision see a range of purple, blue, green, yellow, orange and red, those with Deuteranope (the absence of green photoreceptors) see a range of blues and yellows. Those with Protanope (the absence of red photoreceptors), see a similar range of blues and yellows. Those with Tritanope (the absence of blue receptors), see a range of pinks and light blues.
