Remediate a Table Using the Check Accessibility Tool

Many can vouch that the Check Accessibility tool is quite helpful when it comes to creating accessible tables. Accessible tables include at least a table header row and/or column and a caption. 

 

Your Goal 

Canvas Accessibility ActivityThis assignment will help you practice what you've learned about the T in LIST using the Check Accessibility Tool. 

 

Instructions 

  1. In the Canvas Accessibility Demo Activity Set, navigate to the Canvas page, "Practice 3_Tables" in module "Practice Makes Perfect: Hands On Course Activities."
  2. Run the Check Accessibility tool. 
  3. Remediate for the table using the Check Accessibility tool. 
  4. Compare your answers to "Answer Key-Practice 3_Tables" in the Answer Key Module. 
  5. Did your answers differ? Read Answer Key-Practice 3_Tables to see a video walk through.
