At Mesa there are so many student services and programs available to support your students! We've listed a few of them for you below, but be sure to access the exhaustive list on Mesa's website:
Mesa Student Services Links to an external site.
You can direct students to use the "Student Support" button in the Canvas Global Navigation menu to navigate to these services in one spot. You can also add the "Online Student Support Services" link to your own Canvas course navigation menu (it's the same link, just in your course navigation menu).
School of Student Success & Equity
- The STAND Links to an external site.: Basic Needs Resources (food, professional clothing, transportation, childcare, housing, personal health, books, & school supplies.
- AVANZA Center Links to an external site.: A space to study or lounge with your fellow classmates promoting Latinx culture and identity exploration.
- Borderless Scholars Links to an external site.: Provides a safe and welcoming environment to support students to over personal and educational challenges due to immigration status.
- CalWORKS Links to an external site.: Offers financial assistance and services to qualifying families with children in California.
- CARE Links to an external site.: Provides services to single parents receiving CalWORKs cash aid for themselves and/or their children.
- CRUISE Program: Links to an external site. The onboarding program that helps new students transition to Mesa during their first year.
- DSPS - Disability Support Programs and Services: Links to an external site. Strives to make all of our Mesa offerings accessible to all students, including those with documented disabilities.
- EOPS - Extended Opportunities Programs and Services: Links to an external site. Offers specific support services to students w/ children, current or former foster youth, students impacted by incarceration, and more!
- FAST Scholars: Links to an external site. Offers support and services to current or former foster care students. We got you!
- STAR TRIO Links to an external site.: Services low-income, first-generation, and disable students by creating a pathway for success from middle school through college.
