What is VEBA?

Welcome to the VEBA!

California Schools VEBA is a 501c(9) non-profit trust that delivers high quality, affordable and accessible health care for education, municipal and public agency employees. Formed in 1993 — through the combined efforts of school superintendents and representatives of both the California Teachers Association (CTA) and the California School Employees Association (CSEA) — VEBA currently serves more than 65 participating employers and over 150,000 Members, throughout Southern California.

One of the beneficial features of the VEBA is the VEBA Resource Center. The VEBA Resource Center (or VRC for short) is a holistic health center dedicated to help VEBA members become the best versions of themselves. The goal of the VRC is to provide a safe, comfortable space where VEBA members can access the care they need, when and how they need it. We provide a wide range of classes, programs and services all tailored to a member’s unique situation

Resources offered through the VRC could include:

  • Fitness, Nutrition, and Mindfulness Classes
  • In Person and Virtual Appointments
  • Access to Mental Health Services
  • Help with Financial Planning
  • Community Resources and More!

VEBA provides Self-Care Toolkit that supports the wellbeing. Also, the VEBA Resource Center is here to help you with your self-care journey so you can live a happy, healthy, stress-free life. VEBA provides a wide range of classes, programs and services all tailored to a member’s unique situation.
