In this module, you will learn about primary sources and how to find them. You may be required to include primary sources in your research papers and projects. Knowing what primary sources are and where to find them will help you complete your research assignments.

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this module, you will be able to

  • distinguish primary sources from secondary sources;
  • recognize examples of primary sources for a specific discipline or subject area; and
  • identify the possible locations of primary sources.
