Disability Support Programs & Services Waiver Information

If you are not able to meet Promise program requirements, you may submit a DSPS Waiver

  • Students who received an IEP or 504 plan in high school may continue receiving Disability Support Programs & Services or DSPS at Mesa College
  • Students who would like to be considered for DSPS may contact the Mesa DSPS Department Links to an external site.

Please see below for instructions on how to submit an appeal or meet with your DSPS Counselor for assistance.

Appeals are reviewed by the District office on a case-by-case basis. Appeals spaces are limited. Please submit your documents as soon as possible so that District may undergo a review of your waiver.

DSPS Waiver of Full-Time Requirement

If you have a DSPS Waiver of Full-Time Requirement form that states how many units are considered a full-time course load for you (less than 12), please submit it with your appeal. The DSPS Waiver form can be obtained by meeting with a DSPS Counselor.
