Counseling Services at SDCCE

SDCCE's Counseling Department is committed to student success by providing equitable access to counseling and support services, using a student-centered approach in the following areas: career and academic advising, goal setting, educational planning, and counseling workshops. Counselors encourage students' self-empowerment to make informed decisions by supporting and assisting with:

*Identifying an Educational and/or Career Goal

*Educational Planning

*Follow-up Services

*Credit by Exam (earning college credit for selected classes)

*Transition to College/Promise Program

*SDCCE Scholarships

*Graduation

*Referral to Campus and Community Resources

Counseling is available for all students. Students may schedule an in-person, phone, and/or virtual (Zoom) appointment. Various workshops will be offered throughout the year, targeting student needs. Students have access to counseling support services at all seven SDCCE campuses. Contact your preferred campus to schedule a counseling appointment.
