Festival of Colors

Festival of Colors is an annual event at San Diego Mesa College designed to celebrate different cultural traditions in ways that are collaborative and fun. A key component of Mesa's Annual Cultural Unity Week, Festival of Colors brings together students, faculty, staff, administrators and the community to share in the rich cultural traditions of those from our campus community as well as from the local community. The celebration has taken place on campus for more than three decades now. In the past, performances have included African dancers and drummers, Aztec dancers and drummers, Chinese Dragon Dancers, Japanese drummers, Spoken Word artists, and collaborations between the Mesa Art, Dance, Fashion, Music and Theatre Departments for colorful, exciting, educational and festive shows, performances and exhibits. Festival of Colors is a great opportunity for the entire community to come together and remind each other how much we appreciate and learn from the diversity on our campus.
