Video Captioning


If a video is embedding into the PowerPoint, captions will need to be provided. Fortunately, closed captions can easily be placed directly onto the video in PowerPoint!

 


Adding Captions to a Video in PowerPoint

  1. Caption your video using YouTube's captioning editor. Export the caption file as .VTT format. Note: You will need to create a YouTube account. 
  2. In PowerPoint, follow the instructions below to add the caption file to the embedded video. 
  3. Note: In order to add captions, the video will need to be uploaded via Video on My PC... You cannot add captions to a video that is uploaded Online Video.

  • In your Fix Me PowerPoint, add the following  .VTT Caption File Download  .VTT Caption File to the video clip on Slide 22.
  • If for some reason, the video is unavailable on Slide 22, please download the following video & upload it via Video on My PC:
