Year 1 Promise Requirements ✅
As a 2022-2023 Year 1 Promise student, you must complete the following requirements to remain eligible for the Promise program. Students who meet program requirement during their first year will be eligible for a second year of Promise benefits.
Year 1 Promise Requirements
| Attend a campus Promise orientation |
| Enroll in at least 12 units during Fall and Spring semester (Fall 2022 deadline is September 2, 2022) |
| Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA |
| Meet with a counselor once per semester (any counselor at Mesa College counts toward this requirement) |
| Attend one Mesa College event per semester - Campus Engagement Requirement Submission Form Links to an external site. |
| Complete a progress report online each semester - [link will be posted October 2022] |
| Complete a comprehensive education plan with a counselor by the end of Spring 2022 |
Financial Aid Application
To remain eligible for the San Diego Promise program, Mesa College must have successfully received your 2022-2023 financial aid application (FAFSA or CA Dream Act).
