Post a Welcome Announcement
Keep in mind that students will not see this announcement until the course is published and the announcement date has arrived. This is important if you are writing future-dated announcements for your course, and don't forget that publishing the course is an essential step for student access.
Step-by-Step
- Open Announcements tool from the Course Navigation menu
- Click blue "Add Announcement" button
- Write your announcement.
- You have the option to delay posting your announcement until a future date/time.
- Click Save.
